The name Conte instantly connects lovers of Italian canzoni with Paolo, yet Giorgio, the younger of the two Conte brothers, is in no way inferior to the famous Paolo. The singing poet-lawyer – when he is not on stage, he actually runs a law firm – initially wrote his songs for others: with Milva, Mireille Mathieu, Adriano Celentano, and brother Paolo, they traveled the world. It was only later that the lover of old jazz music, Italian folk music, and French chansons decided to interpret his works on stage himself.
