Kaisergipfel Tour to the Mitterkaiser
Guided by a state-certified mountain guide, the ascent of the Horn climbing route becomes a secure experience. We learn all about the correct techniques for climbing via ferrata and the suitable equipment firsthand. In small groups, individual prior knowledge can be addressed. A breathtaking view awaits us from the Wilder Kaiser over the Kitzbühel Alps to the Hohe Tauern. This approximately 4-hour tour is suitable for sporty hikers who enjoy steep drops and like to feel rocks beneath their hands and feet. With the Harschbichlbahn in St. Johann, we ascend, and after a short approach, this easy-to-reach climbing route awaits.

Duration: approx. 5 hours
Self-contribution: € 80 per person with St. Johann Card (€ 100 without guest card).
Excludes mountain railway ticket - with two overnight stays in the St. Johann - Oberndorf - Kirchdorf - Erpfendorf region, a ride with the Harschbichlbahn is included with the guest card.
Equipment: Helmet*, climbing harness*, via ferrata set with fall arrester* (*rental equipment available if needed).
Hiking equipment, mountain or hiking shoes, via ferrata or cycling gloves, small backpack.

Technique: #### For experienced mountain hikers who can safely navigate exposed, alpine paths and routes with short via ferrata sections. Sure-footedness and freedom from dizziness required.

This tour will take place with a minimum of one participant. Maximum 6 participants per mountain guide.
Registration is required by the day before at 12:00 PM online or directly with the Kitzbühel mountain guides
Every registered participant will be contacted by the mountain guide by phone the evening before the tour. To ensure we always provide our guests with a unique mountain experience, we reserve the right to make slight program changes and adjustments to the start time and meeting point according to conditions and weather. In very bad weather, we are happy to offer taster courses in the climbing halls of Kitzbühel or St. Johann.
