Summit Hike in the Kaiser Mountains
Group offer: Every Tuesday we offer our weekly via ferrata tour to the Kitzbüheler Horn. Freedom, grip-friendly rock, steep ascents, airy ridges, and a unique view await us there. You will learn everything about the right technique and suitable equipment.
Suitable for children from 8 years.
Meeting point: Valley station Harschbichlbahn St. Johann in Tirol
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Self-contribution: € 80 per person with St. Johann Card (€ 100 without guest card).
Excludes mountain railway ticket - from three overnight stays in the St. Johann - Oberndorf - Kirchdorf - Erpfendorf region, a ride with the Harschbichlbahn is included with the guest card.
Equipment: Helmet*, climbing harness*, via ferrata set with fall absorber* (*Rental equipment available if needed - € 20 per person)
Hiking gear, mountain or hiking shoes, via ferrata or bike gloves, small backpack.
Elevation gain: 250 m
Technique: #### For experienced mountain hikers who can navigate exposed, alpine paths and trails with short cable-secured passages safely. Surefootedness and freedom from dizziness required.
Condition: ## 200-600 meters in ascent and descent | Via ferrata: C/D
This tour is conducted with a minimum of two participants. Maximum 6 participants per mountain guide.
Registration until the day before at 12:00 p.m. online or directly with the Kitzbühel mountain guides
Every registered participant will be contacted by the mountain guide by phone the evening before the tour. To always offer our guests a unique mountain experience, we reserve the right to make minor program changes and to adjust the start time and meeting point according to the conditions and weather. In case of very bad weather, we are happy to offer introductory courses in the climbing halls of Kitzbühel or St. Johann.
