Live Music with Gordon Loy

“It is time to write anthems for the limitless! “Anthem for no man’s land”
Under this title, Andreas Schaerer, Luciano Biondini, Kalle Kalima, and Lucas Niggli have set to work to conceive a new album. Music that promotes the transcendence of territorial thinking, of borders, of selfishness.
“We don't want to address our audience with theoretical manifestos but with sensual, emotional music. We want to not only propagate freedom but to live it together with the audience in the music,” is their statement.
Anyone who has been to a concert by this band has experienced it firsthand. The gatherings of this trans-European quartet resemble more a ritual liberation ceremony than a typical concert visit. With their last album
“A Novel Of Anomaly,” the band toured across Europe and North America.
Somewhere in no man's land between archaic Alpine influences, Italianità, psychedelic rock, and multi-ethnically shaped polyrhythms. Paired with explosive interplay and passionate improvisation. Their music is a wild mix of unexpected turns, crazy sounds, and moments full of surprises. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes totally out there – always different from what you expect.
