Comb weaving - rediscovering an old craft

Learn a traditional craft for modern creations!
Comb weaving is one of the oldest weaving techniques in human history. Centuries ago, people used simple weaving combs to create decorative ribbons - whether for clothing, belts, embellishments, or ritual purposes.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- how the weaving comb works and what to consider when warping and weaving
- what patterns are possible - even without prior knowledge
- where expressions like "to cast everyone in the same mold" actually come from
- how to conjure up beautiful, colorful, and individual ribbons with little material
By the end of the course, you will hold a self-woven ribbon in your hands - whether as a bracelet, bookmark, or key strap.
The workshop is aimed at all age groups; children from 10 years old can participate without parents.
