Tour information

We start our ski tour at the Kneipp facility or the Ebenau car park in Aschau, from where we head towards Klooalm in Oberen Grund for about 1.7 km into the valley. The turnoff on the right-hand side to Hirzeggalm and Spießnägeln is well signposted and hard to miss. We climb up to Hirzeggalm via a few hairpin bends, and from there we follow the summer trail directly to the summit of Spießnägeln.

Recommended equipment When skiing off-piste, please always carry the recommended emergency equipment with you – the following items per person:
1. Avalanche transceiver (LVS device) – switched on and worn on the body under the top layer of clothing

3. Avalanche shovel (in your rucksack)
The following are also recommended: mobile phone, navigation equipment, first aid kit, bivouac sack and, if necessary, airbag rucksack, additional thermal protection.
Getting there Take the B170 From Wörgl or Kitzbühel as far as Kirchberg in Tirol, follow the L203 Spertentalstraße until Aschau.
