Tour information

The trail starts at the Kramerhof trail entrance in Gasteig. For the time being, keep to the first junction in the direction of the high-altitude trail Gasteig, then turn right in the direction of Griesenau. Continue with a slight ascent past Altmühl until you reach Gasthof Griesenau. The trail turns left into the Kaiserbachtal valley. At the next junction keep left again. A small circular trail first runs along the forest, then turns and goes back parallel to the stream and back to the trail in the direction of Altmühl/Gasteig.

The trail is prepared for skaters and classic skiers.

Getting there Coming from Kitzbühel/St Johann in Tirol on the B161, drive towards Salzburg. While still in the town of St. Johann, take the left exit towards Kössen/Schwendt and drive slightly uphill on the B176. You will next pass the Kirchdorf district of Gasteig and shortly afterwards you will reach the entrance to the Kramerhof (turn left).

Coming from Waidring/Erpfendorf/Kirchdorf, drive towards St. Johann in Tirol. Follow the B178 and turn right towards Kirchdorf. At the church in Kirchdorf, take Gasteiger Straße towards Kössen/Schwendt. Drive uphill on the B176. You will next pass through the Kirchdorf district of Gasteig and shortly afterwards you will reach the entrance to the Kramerhof (turn left).
