Two prominent artists from the Venice of the North – the world city of Dresden. Helmut Fuchs performs with the oldest orchestra in the world. The Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden is one of the leading and most traditional orchestras in the world – founded in 1548. After its destruction in 1945, the Frauenkirche remained in ruins before being rebuilt from 1993 to 2005. It is one of the city's most famous landmarks and one of the most significant Baroque buildings.
