The St. Johann in Tirol Museum offers an exciting journey of discovery for all generations with interesting stories about St. Johann:
The prehistoric finds from the Tischofer cave with the roaring cave bear "Grim", the rare scorpion from the Kaiser Mountains, the famous children's symphony by composer Angerer, the world-renowned Frau Emma in Europe, the talented poodle "Schmecks", the legendary climbing competitions in the rock walls of the Wilder Kaiser, or the dizzying mountain tour in the museum with a view of the Kaiser model as if from the stratosphere – these are just a few of the many lasting impressions from this museum tour. Of course, especially during the winter season, the diverse nativity figure collection of the museum holds particular significance.
During the winter season, the St. Johann in Tirol Museum is open on December 25, 27, 30, January 1, and 3, as well as from January 7 to March 18, 2025, each Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Additionally, there will be a free evening tour "Nights in the Museum" through the St. Johann in Tirol Museum (in German) on December 29, January 26, and February 23 at 8 PM.
