Lourdes Grotto

A very special power place is the Lourdes Cave at Niederkaiserkamm, just below the Gmail Chapel. In a rock ledge, you will find the impressive statue of Mary. Here you can reflect and unwind. In 1956, a citizen of St. Johann pilgrimage to Lourdes to seek healing for his illness. He promised the holy Mary, Mother of God, that if he were healed, he would build a Lourdes cave in his homeland. And so it happened.
