Bergbauernmuseum in the Wildschönau - about 55 minutes' drive (approx. 50 km) from the Pillerseetal.
The Bergbauernmuseum z' Bach is a complete experience. The historic rooms dating from 1795 house a remarkable collection. More than 1,200 exhibits tell the history and stories about the meagre life of the Tyrolean mountain farmers. The threshing floor and cowshed are used for events.
A special attraction is the craft market, which takes place every Thursday from 12 pm to 05 pm during the summer months.
