Winter: Skiing, Touring & Cross-Country SkiingIn winter, you can reach the ski areas of Leogang and Fieberbrunn in about 5-10 minutes. Other well-known ski areas such as Zell am See, Maria Alm, St. Johann in Tyrol, the Waidringer Steinplatte, KitzSki, and the Almwelt Lofer are located within approximately 30 km.
The Buchensteinwand, the local mountain of Hochfilzen, is small, fine, and ideal for skiing, tobogganing, snowshoe hiking, and first ski touring experiences. In the Pillersee Valley region, there are also numerous ski touring and snowshoe routes for all levels of proficiency.
Hochfilzen is also particularly popular for cross-country skiing.

The Heian apartment impresses with 88 m², two bedrooms, and is ideal for families or four people, and can accommodate up to six guests if needed.
