The pre-Christmas season in Tyrol traditionally begins with the Perchten runs.
Bells, goosebumps, and creepy masks (called Larven) drive away the bad spirits from the respective community.
Everywhere it is a little different. So let yourself be surprised by how it is here with us in Itter.
The first group begins at 3:30 PM, around 5:15 PM St. Nicholas arrives and brings the children a small gift.
