The only publicly accessible ice cave in Western Austria is located on the high plateau north of Angerberg, 2.9 km northeast of Mariastein. The main entrance is at an elevation of 1,520 m above sea level. The cave can be reached via marked paths either from the Inn Valley over the Buchacker Alm or from Hinterthiersee over the Köglalm and Hundalm.
