The Rosswildalpe and the Wildalmseen – a remote offline holiday paradise. Fishing at the Wildalmseen, mountain hiking, or simply letting your soul unwind. Book directly via the website.
Enjoy the easy ascent through the forest and along the forestry road (approx. 700 metres elevation gain) and right in the middle of lush green meadows you'll find the Rosswildalm, surrounded by the Schafsiedl and its neighbouring peaks reaching 2,500 metres. From 1,790 metres you can set off in all directions and experience easy to challenging mountain tours. Fishing with Fliegenfischen mit Herz is always on offer too – just enquire directly (www.ffmh.at). The same goes for nature courses, fly fishing courses, or Hike & Flyfish. In any case, the starting point is right on the hiking trail and next to the stream, so you can also simply enjoy the view in peace and dip your feet in the cool water.
The Rosswildalm is a long-established mountain hut, listed among the top 10 mountain huts on the Blog von Tirol. Ancient, hand-built, and lovingly restored by us to "Fein am Berg" standards, the Rosswildalpe is truly one of a kind. The water supply comes from the hut's own spring – fresh, clear mountain water, just as it should be. The hut offers a WC, a cosy parlour with a wood-burning stove, and a well-equipped kitchen, with 3 rooms for up to 8 guests. The Swiss stone pine parlour with its corner bench invites you to sit back and relax. Of course there is a gas system (annually inspected) and a solar PV system for efficient cooking and electricity. The large covered veranda offers shelter from heat and rain and is perfect for stargazing. At the Rosswildalm there is virtually no light pollution – you'll see the stars like almost nowhere else.
The price is a flat rate and includes all ancillary costs. Fishing is extra and requires legal permission from the leaseholder and hut operator "Fliegenfischen mit Herz". The hut is only accessible on foot.
