THE NEW SALVISTA CABLE CAR IN ITTER
Just in time for the start of the 2020/21 winter season, the construction work for the new, state-of-the-art Salvista cable car in Itter was completed. The valley station of the new cable car will be built at the same location as the old station, and the route to the Kraftalm will remain the same. At the height of the Kraftalm, a middle station (1,353 m) with entry and exit options will be constructed. The mountain station of the cable car will then be located at the summit of the Kleinen Salve (1,560 m). Thus, the Salvista cable car in Itter will be extended by 650 meters. A modern technical center for snowmaking, piste machinery, and workshops is also part of this significant investment.
The new Salvista cable car in Itter is also in operation during the summer season.
