Graveltour Käsealm Straubing

We start this tour in the centre of Kirchberg and follow the Brixental cycle path to Westendorf. We cycle towards the golf course, turn right in the Holzham district towards the Aktiv Arena, and from there we cycle through the Aunerwald forest, along the edge of the golf course to the asphalt road, where we turn right again and cycle down to the Lendwirt. At the Lendwirt, we turn left and cycle along the Windauer Ache to the Jägerhäusl in the Rettenbach district. Directly at the toll booth, we cycle uphill on a slightly steeper section and follow the signs to the Käsealm Straubing. A slightly more leisurely option would be to continue straight on from the toll booth to the Steinberghaus inn. After a hearty snack, we follow the gravel road back to the Jägerhäusl. Here we reach the asphalt road and follow it out of the valley to Westendorf and back to Kirchberg on the Brixental cycle path.
