Since 2014, more than 1.5 million people worldwide have participated in the Wings for Life Foundation runs to support spinal cord research and to make a strong statement of solidarity. On May 10th at 1:00 PM, this initiative will also be experienced in Kirchberg as part of the App Run.
Participation is through the Wings for Life App, which allows interested individuals to register for the run and start individually. The goal is arena365, whose north-facing parking lot serves as the starting point for an attractive running and walking route along the promenade. The route is suitable for participants of all performance levels – for both individual starters and teams.
On-site, a refreshment station will provide food and additional energy. Supported by motivating accompaniment and a communal atmosphere, the personal running experience is the focus. What matters is not the placement, but the individual distance covered before the virtual catcher car ends the race.
The event combines physical activity with a meaningful purpose and creates a shared experience in the name of research and movement.
