The ceremonial opening of the 28th International Cordial Cup Tirol marks the start of one of the largest youth football tournaments in Europe. From May 22 to 25, 2026, around 164 teams from numerous nations will compete in the Kitzbühel Alps, ensuring an international sports experience of the highest caliber.
The opening night on May 22, 2026 will begin at 7:00 PM with the traditional parade of teams from the village square to the football pitch in Kirchberg. Following this, there will be an official welcome and the ceremonial opening of the tournament.
Approximately 3,000 young players will demonstrate their skills and compete in thrilling matches for goals, points, and trophies. Girls' teams are also an integral part of the tournament, contributing to the sports diversity.
