Anniversary Celebration – 50 Years of Angath

Experience one of the most impressive sacred works by Franz Schubert in the Wörgl parish church.
The Mass in E-flat major D 950 was composed a few months before the early death of the composer and is considered his last completed masterpiece of choral music.
With its exceptional length and grand orchestration, it occupies a special place within Schubert's oeuvre.
Impressive homophonic and polyphonic passages alternate, giving the composition a fascinating tonal variety.
Deep spirituality combines with symphonic grandeur and perfected expressiveness. Special highlights are the artfully crafted fugues in the Gloria and Credo, which rank among Schubert's most significant achievements.
Let yourself be moved by this touching work and enjoy an evening of concert at the highest musical level.
